Distribuzione

Le tre specie note di questo genere sono state reperite in mwdgAmerica centrale: nelle mwdwPiccole Antille (mweaisole Vergini e mweqCuba) e nelle mwegisole Bahamacite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-0[1].

Tassonomia

Le caratteristiche di questo genere sono state determinate sulla base delle analisi effettuate sugli esemplari di mwgqMicrosa chickeringi mwggPlatnick & Shadab, 1977cite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-1[1].

Non sono stati esaminati esemplari di questo genere dal 2007cite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-2[1].

Attualmente, a novembre 2015, si compone di tre speciecite-ref-gnaphosidae-1-3[1]:

• mwkwMicrosa chickeringi mwlqPlatnick & Shadab, 1977cite-ref-2[2] — isole Vergini
• mwmwMicrosa cubitas mwnqAlayón & Platnick, 1993 — Cuba
